My name is Traci Booth-Ross.
I am a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience working with and advising people in business.
I didn’t always want to be an accountant. In my younger years I though I’d like to be an artist. Given that I wasn’t much good at art, I realised I probably wasn’t going to make much money (not good!!). Accounting on the other hand was something I was good at and it came naturally, so I took myself to University to gain the qualifications needed to succeed as an accountant.
But the creative flair never left me, and I never quite fitted your typical Accountant stereo type. I was like the square peg in a round hole. How many creative accountants do you know?
The good thing is that when it comes to business development, coaching and mentoring you need both analytical and creative thinking to achieve the optimum results. This is why I absolutely love what I do… I get to use both very different sides of my brain, the very logical and the creative. It’s the perfect career for me, I was born to it.
